Ingredients

  • 1 Nonstick cooking spray for the dish
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup buffalo-style hot sauce
  • 0.5 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups chicken cooked, shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Equipment

  • 1 8x8-inch baking dish

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly coat an 8x8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir the cream cheese, buffalo-style hot sauce, and ranch dressing until smooth.
  4. Fold in the chicken and 1/2 cup of the cheddar.
  5. Spread the mixture in the prepared dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar over the top.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until bubbling around the edges and the center reaches 165°F on an instant-read thermometer.
  8. Let the dip rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a smooth dip, soften the cream cheese before mixing. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; freezing is not recommended because the creamy texture can separate. For a lighter option, use light ranch dressing.
