Ingredients

For the dip
  • 1 block (8 oz) feta cheese drained and broken into pieces
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
For the hot honey and topping
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 cup shelled pistachios finely chopped

Equipment

  • 1 food processor
  • 1 shallow serving bowl
  • 1 small saucepan

Method

Make the dip
  1. Process the feta, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, and lemon juice in a food processor, scraping down the sides as needed, until smooth and creamy.
  2. Spoon the dip into a shallow serving bowl.
Prepare the topping and serve
  1. Warm the honey and crushed red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring, until the honey is loose and warm; do not let it boil.
  2. Drizzle the hot honey over the dip.
  3. Sprinkle with the chopped pistachios.
  4. Serve.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, let the cream cheese soften before processing. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days; freezing is not recommended. For a milder topping, reduce the crushed red pepper flakes.
