Method
- Preheat a 6-quart air fryer to 350°F for 3 minutes.
- Lightly coat 16 2-inch silicone mini muffin cups with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg yolk and water together.
- Cut the puff pastry into 16 equal squares and press one square into each prepared cup.
- Brush the exposed pastry edges lightly with egg wash.
- Add one piece of Brie and 1 teaspoon cranberry sauce to each cup.
- Divide the pecans evenly among the cups.
- Arrange the cups in the air fryer basket in a single layer without crowding, working in batches as needed.
- Refrigerate the uncooked bites until their batch is ready.
- Air-fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes per batch, until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
- Let the bites rest in their cups for 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Keep the puff pastry cold while preparing the bites for a flakier result. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days; freezing is not recommended. For a nut-free option, replace the pecans with pepitas.
